IvaBoard Demo roadmap
What the team is planning and building, grouped by status.
Planned, 4 ideas
The team has decided to build these.
- Sync stalls on very large attachments
A 200 MB video in a note makes the sync spinner run for ever.

- Version history for every note
I deleted a paragraph last week and could not get it back. Keep earlier versions for a few weeks.

- Web clipper for Chrome and Firefox
Save an article or a selection straight into a notebook, with the link back to the page.

- Dark mode for the mobile app
I take notes in bed and the white screen is painful. A dark theme that follows the phone setting would be great.

Being built right now.
- Search ignores notes with an emoji in the title
Searching for the words of a title that starts with an emoji finds nothing.

- Shared notebooks with comment threads
Let a team work in one notebook and discuss a paragraph without editing it.

- Offline editing that syncs when you reconnect
On the train I lose signal and cannot open my notes. Keep the last notebooks on the device and merge changes later.

Done, 3 ideas
Shipped and ready to use.
- Pasting from Word drops list formatting
Numbered lists become plain lines after pasting.

- Tags with colours
Colour-coded tags make a long list of notes much faster to scan.

- Export a notebook as Markdown or PDF
I want a backup that opens without Acme Notes. One click on a notebook, a ZIP of Markdown files with the images.
